Every Torzal bass or guitar is made in the USA by hand, right here in Austin, Texas.
There are three distinct opportunities for acquiring a Torzal of your own:
Order a bass with the standard specifications. Each model is available as a 4 or 5-string, with limited choices for wood, hardware color and finish color.
Order a fully customized bass using one of our models as a starting point, with virtually unlimited options including multi-scale, headless, etc.
Sign up for our newsletter, monitor our social media, and jump at the opportunity when available instruments are posted for sale. These are typically instruments that are built to satisfy Jerome’s insatiable appetite to create. They represent a very limited opportunity and you don’t want to miss out!
To order a Torzal, a $1000 deposit secures your order and your place in our build queue. Please see the Pricing & Options page to get an idea of the full price of the instrument you want to order.

Due to high demand, there is currently a 6-month wait (approximately) from the time your order is placed to when you will receive your Torzal. We will be in communication and send progress photos during the course of the build.

Some people know exactly what they want, while others appreciate some personal guidance. Either way is great, we’re here for you!
All instruments made by Torzal Guitars are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. Torzal Guitars will repair or replace, at our option, any instrument or part thereof which is found to be defective. This warranty is extended to the original purchaser only, is not transferable to any subsequent owners, and is subject to the limitations set forth below:
Warranty Limitations:
Instruments that have been modified after shipping from the place of manufacture;
Instruments whose serial numbers have been altered or removed;
Instruments that have been subjected to extremes of humidity or temperature
Normal wear or natural cracking of wood or shrinkage of finish;
Instruments that have been damaged due to misuse, neglect, or accident;
Normal wear and tear to serviceable parts such as strings, tuning gears, frets;
Claims from or by anyone other than the original purchaser.
Torzal Guitars reserves the right to use materials regularly utilized or available at the time of repair in the event that original materials are no longer available.
This is the sole warranty of Torzal Guitars. No other written, oral, express or implied warranties including the merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose apply.
Maintenance & Repair Notes
If you are having a problem with your guitar or bass, or have damaged it, please contact us immediately (and first!). We will discuss whatever is going on with the instrument and make a decision on the best way to resolve the problem.
We understand if your regular guitar technician is not sure how to approach certain routine maintenance and set-up issues on Torzal Natural Twist necks. We will be happy to talk any owner or qualified instrument technician through certain maintenance or set-up procedures. We will perform neck and string adjustments on any Torzal Natural Twist neck for free in our shop, and other general maintenance procedures for a nominal fee. If shipping is required, customer shall pay shipping to and from our shop.
